REX PLAY is a media player — it works with any Xtream Codes API compatible service you subscribe to separately. REX PLAY does not provide streaming content; you must have your own subscription with a third-party provider.
On the app's login screen, enter your Server URL (e.g. http://example.com:8080), Username, and Password from your Xtream Codes API provider. These are the same details your provider sends via email when you subscribe.
PLUS is our iOS-only player with core features (21 languages, EPG, VLC & AVPlayer engines). PRO adds advanced customization, landscape-optimized UI, and is available on both iOS and Android.
1) Switch player engine (VLC ↔ AVPlayer) in Settings. 2) Verify your internet connection is stable. 3) Double-check Server URL, Username, and Password are correct. 4) Contact your streaming provider to confirm your subscription is active.
No. REX PLAY does not host, store, cache, or distribute any content. All streams are provided directly by your chosen streaming service via the Xtream Codes API. We are only the player.
Catch-up and timeshift availability depends on your Xtream Codes provider. If supported, the option appears automatically in the EPG guide — long-press a past program to start catch-up playback.
Open Settings and tap "Remove Ads" — a one-time $1.99 in-app purchase permanently disables all banner, interstitial and open-app ads. Use "Restore Purchases" if you've already purchased on another device with the same Apple/Google account.
Open Settings → Language and choose from 21 supported languages (English, Turkish, German, Spanish, French, Arabic, and more). The app updates instantly without restart.

Open Settings → tap "Logout" to clear your saved credentials. You can also delete the app and reinstall it from the store to reset all preferences.
